The Lutheran Difference
Have you ever wondered why there are so many different churches out there? The answer is that many people no longer believe what the Bible says. They disregard what it says about sin and also what it says about salvation. People read the Bible wanting to justify their own lifestyles.
In the Lutheran Church we allow God to interpret God. We allow Scripture to interpret Scripture. What God calls sin, we also call sin. But most importantly we understand the Bible to be a book about Jesus. Central to the Bible, and to the Lutheran Church, is the teaching that we are reconciled to God and our sins are forgiven through the perfect life and innocent death of God’s own Son, Jesus Christ. We are truly saved by God’s undeserved love and mercy without any merit or worthiness in us.
Please stop in and find out more. We promise that you won’t hear us say, “I think,” or “I believe that what God is trying to say is….” We look forward to searching the Scriptures with you so that you can see for yourself the good news of Jesus Christ!
