CHURCH PICNIC RESCHEDULED

Sunday April 11th at 1pm is our Annual Church Picnic at Rotary Park, Ramada C. If you haven’t been before it is always a great time. Bring your own chairs and/or blankets to sit on and a dish to pass. Hot dogs and drinks will be provided. Games and activities have been organized so there will be fun for everyone. Bring your baseball gloves Chris Denney is organizing a softball game.

SCHOOL NEWS

Check your April calendar for post season basketball games, along with our 2nd Annual Chili Cook Off. Last year’s 1st and 2nd place winners are no longer here, so the field is wide open. Bring your best chili, hot and spicy, vegetarian or all meat and see if you have the winning recipe. Or just come and taste. Last year was a great time. Saturday April 10th at 5pm—Fellowship Hall. See you there!

LADIES GUILD SPRING LUNCHEON

Will be Saturday May 1^st at 12noon, but there is a twist. This year it will be held at Casa Serrano, not in the Fellowship Hall. All the women of the church are invited. The Ladies Guild will need a count, so there will be a sign up sheets in the Narthex and at the Chapel on April 18^th and 25^th. If you have any questions please see Pauline Huebner or Alberta Ellis

HIKE AT SARA PARK

The Evangelism Committee is coordinating a hike thru Sara Park on Saturday April 17th at 7:00am. The hike will go thru Sara Park down to the lake and takes about 2 hours to complete. There is also an alternate path for those who would like an easier route, but would like come out to enjoy the morning outdoors in Fellowship with other members.  The group will meet at in the church parking lot at 6:45am. DOORHANGERS

Remember the school will be doing additional door hangers the first part of April. Sign-up sheets are in the Narthex.

REFRESHMENTS

There are dates available to sign up for refreshments during fellowship on Sundays in April (and beyond). If you would like to “sponsor” refreshments, meaning you can pay and Marie Fasching will purchase or make refreshments in your honor. I f you have any questions please see Marie Fasching.
