CHOIR NOTES ♫

Once again, our choir will be singing “The Hallelujah Chorus” at the 9 AM Easter service. All congregation members, young or old, are welcome to join us. If you’d like to make it to a rehearsal, please come at 5:15 PM this Wednesday evening.  We will also run through the song at 8:30 AM on Easter morning.  And remember, there are plenty of copies of the music, so come forward on Easter Sunday morning and join us in our fun tradition! Contact Katie Hartwig if you have any questions.

Choir members: We will be singing our communion song at the Maundy Thursday evening service.  There will be no warm-up before the service in the interests of time, so warm up your voices in the car! We are also singing at the Good Friday evening Tenebrae service. Please contact Katie with any questions.

Project:  Each One Reach One

You will be contacted shortly after Easter by a member of the Evangelism Committee.  We want you to give us the name of at least one person that you know that does not go to church.  Forms will be available for you to fill in the contact details.  We are not asking you to witness to them.  You can leave that to us.  This is what do we need from you:

  1. Prayers – ask the Lord to guide you in choosing whose name to give.
  2. Names – friends, family members, workmates, strangers.
  3. Reference – we would like to be able to say that you sent us.  (This is not essential and don’t let it stop you giving us a name.)  We will work anonymously if you require it.
  4. Inside Information – details of the person’s life that may help us reach out to them – death of a spouse, sickness, children, occupation, religions background, etc.
  5. Prayers
    1. Pray for this person so that we can be given many opportunities to reach out to them.
    2. Pray that we will be given the Words to say.
    3. Pray that the Lord will bless our efforts.
    4. Pray that the Lord will work in the person’s heart.
    5. Pray that this person will open more opportunities to tell others of Jesus.
