CHURCH PICNIC

The Church Picnic as rained out last week. Watch your bulletins for more information regarding the rescheduled date.

TCW TEAMS – THANK YOU

To EVERYONE who helped with housing, meals, transportation, donations and prayers. This week was a great success and we saw results in some cases the same day (phone calls about the school). Please keep theses efforts in your prayers.

DOORHANGERS

SCHOLARSHIP REMINDER

If you know of any students that now attends public school and might be interested in seeing what our school has to offer, please tell them to see Chris Denney or Kelly before April 10^th to apply for the Institute for Better Education (IBE) Scholarship. IBE has a special corporate sponsored scholarship open only to Lutheran schools in Arizona, but the deadline for this application is April 10, 2010. Help us get the word out.

SCHOOL RELIGION FAIR PROJECTS & LUTHERAN GIRL PIONEERS

Be sure to check out the school Religion Fair projects in the Fellowship Hall on display and the LGP Biosphere 2 Art Project in the Narthex. The Lord has truly blessed our church and school with creativity and talent.

HOLY WEEK SCHEDULE

There have been requests for the Holy Week Schedule, because it wasn’t on the March calendar. That is because Maundy Thursday and Good Friday are April 1^st and 2^nd.  Watch the bulletins the next 2 weeks for service times.

EASTER LILIES

Judy Baker will be in the Narthex with the sign-up sheet after the service over the next three weeks. The cost of the lilies is $10.

REFRESHMENTS

There are dates available to sign up for refreshments during fellowship on Sundays in March and April (and beyond).  If you would like to “sponsor” refreshments, meaning you can pay and Marie Fasching will purchase or make refreshments in your honor.   If you have any questions please see Marie Fasching.
