SAINTS BASKETBALL

Our Saviour Lutheran School Saints would like to invite you to their first basketball game of the season! The Saints at Bethany Christian Bible School, 1200 Park Terrace, off the highway near the old Wal-Mart. Game time 3:30pm on Thursday February 11^th, bring your OSLS Megaphone and cheer on the Saints!

SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION

If you know of any families that currently have school age children in public school K-8^th grade and would like to send their child to our school, but might not be able to afford it, have them see Kelly in the church office. There are scholarships available that CAN be applied to the FALL 2010 School Year, but only to children that go from public to private school. See Kelly for more information.

LENTEN SERVICES AND SUPPERS

Lent starts with Ash Wednesday February 17^th.  Remember there will be NO AM Chapel during Lent. The school will attend the 12noon service, parents are encouraged to attend. There will be communion service on Ash Wednesday. The evening service will be at 6:30pm with the dinner prior to the service at 5:30pm. All are invited.

LUTHERAN GIRL PIONEERS

The Lutheran Girl Pioneers Caravan #517 is going to participate in a recycle art contest with Biosphere 2 and will be working on it during the month of February. If you have any of the listed recyclable items that you would like to donate to the girls for the project, please bring to our next LGP meeting February 10.  Paper bags, plastic bags, plastic water bottle lids, small cardboard boxes (tea box size), MAGAZINES, and newspapers. FOLDING TABLES FOR SALE

The Quilters and Crafters had purchased new light weight 6ft tables that are much easier to move, so now we have too many tables. Anyone who would like to make a goodwill offering for the old 8ft folding tables that are in the Fellowship Hall, please see Kelly in the church office or Rodger Duberowski for more information

GRIEF SUPPORT GROUP

Starting Feb 1st and meeting every 1^st Monday of the Month (except July) at 3:30pm in the Fellowship Hall. This special group is for children form 8^th – 12^th grade who have suffered a loss in their life. Carmen Howard – bereavement counselor from New Hope Hospice and Tyanna and Julie Wilson will be the coordinators for the group.
