We are grateful for the cards, letters, gifts, phone calls and floral offerings. Special thanks to those who planned and then attended the Retirement Dinner. HAITI EARTHQUAKE RELIEF through Thrivent.

If you are a Thrivent member and want to make a donation to help the relief efforts in Haiti, Thrivent will double your donation. LENTEN SERVICES AND SUPPERS

Lent is right around the corner, starting on Ash Wednesday February 17^th. Mary is looking for volunteers to sign up for the Lenten meals on each Wednesday before the evening service. Sign-up as a group or as couples or a couple of friends. On average there are usually 40-50 per meal. See Mary to sign-up or for more information.

OUR SAVIOUR LUTHERAN SCHOOL RUMMAGE SALE

Is set for Saturday February 20^th at the school. The last two years have been such a great success, we are hoping to do even better this year. If you would like to help in anyway Tami and Rudy Koivisto are the coordinators for this year’s sale. Sign-up sheets will be in the Narthex. If you have items to donate, please bring them to the school on Friday February 19^th . More information to follow.

Ladies Guild 2010 Mission Rally

This year the Ladies Mission Rally has chosen the Mission to the Children in conjunction with WELS and the Iglesia Evangelica Luterana Confesional in Mexico to help bring the Gospel to children and their families in northwestern Sonora Mexico.

This mission effort also helps them meet their basic physical needs.

Everyone can help with donations even if you aren’t planning on attending the Ladies Mission Rally on Jan. 30^th.

Listed below are the items the mission is requesting:

School Supplies (all items-elementary school)

Vitamins – multivitamins

Hygiene Articles – toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap deodorant, shampoo, etc.

New Mother Items – baby blankets, baby clothes (gently used is ok) diapers, etc.

Items can be brought to the Mission Rally on Jan. 30^th or the church office prior to Saturday.
